Party of 10, had reservations at 8:30. We arrived a little after 8 to have drinks before dinner. We checked in with the host stand when we arrived. We were told great, just let them know when we are ready. About 8:25 we told them we were ready. They said it would be just a few minutes. About 8:45 we asked again. Still the same response. 9:00 the same response, 9:15 the same response along with "we got you covered". 9:25 we finally sat down.....this was 55 minutes past our reservation and and hour and 25 minutes past the time we walked in the door. This is unacceptable even for a Saturday night and it boils down to ill trained hosts and poor dining room management. I will say that our server was great. Very attentive. However, no one from management stopped by to apologize for our delay. Once we sat down it was as if it was business as usual for the restaurant. A simple apology would have sufficed. One of my guests did get his bar tab covered, but this was done on the sly and not offered to anyone else even though we all had to wait. I do love the food here, but it will probably be a while before I go back. Pros: great food, great wait staff Cons: poor dining room management & host station, reservations don't count
