Review content:
Judging from the restaurant (the only place you can review the restaurant is here), the Salish must be riding on an ancient reputation for excellence that is sadly gone even though the premium pricing has remained. At brunch, I ordered the steak medium rare, and it came thoroughly well done, with crispy burnt edges. The waiter never even checked to ask how our meals were, so there was no use trying to send it back. We waited hungrily forever for our meal, and they didn't even offer bread until the food arrived. I checked out the rooms; for $409 per night, you get a cool spa bathtub and a fireplace with a single log, but there's no other "warmth" to the rooms because of the stark decor. The views are of the river and a power plant, not of the falls! A bit over-priced for that. Pros: near the scenic falls, fireplace/spa tub 4-2 Cons: overpriced, poor service, no views of the falls
