Review content:
I was a repeat customer for years until one day when my wife had a
problem with her car and the owner refused to help after she was told to
bring in her car.
I called Maui Oil Change & Tune up to check if they might be able to fix my wife's
car after providing them with the make, model, year of her car, and what
problems she was experiencing. The Maui Oil Change & Tune up employee asked the
mechanic if he wanted to service the car, he agreed to work on her car,
and made the appointment for the same day. My wife then took her car to
Maui Oil Change & Tune up in time to make her scheduled appointment. As soon as my
wife checked in, she was informed by Irene, the owner's wife, they would
not work on her car. She said to my wife that, "it wasn't that they
COULDN'T work on her car but that they WOULDN'T work on her car". She
repeated this statement twice.
After this statement a different employee handed her a piece of paper
for someone else who might work on her car. My wife felt hurt,
confused and discriminated against. This is no way to run a business.
Sincerely,
A former customer
