Review content:
Beware of signing a contract with these people. A good rule would be to never ever sign a contract with them and also and especially never, never give them access to your bank account.
The contract is a rolling contract and their rules make it difficult to cancel it. You have a window of time in which to cancel and you have to send a certified letter. No fax, no regular mail. If you don't get it just right you will be sucked into another year of payments.
My daughter, inexperienced and young, signed up. After almost two years she went to the gym and asked to see her contract and the person at the counter asked her why. Sounds to me like they may have something to hide although I couldn't say for sure. Yes, a lot of this is my daughters fault and now she has learned a valuable lesson. She is now in the process of trying to cancel the membership. I will write another review as this involved process goes along.
It shouldn't be this difficult. A business that provides a service should be able to keep customers by giving them a great product. If they have to resort to trickery then maybe their product is not so good.
I just think that people should be aware of what they are getting into. Especially young people who haven't had these kinds of experiences and are perhaps too trusting.
