Guest and woksawi, Here is my response to your negative reviews of my company: Our July 2007 Letter of Agreement (“Agreement”) included the conversion and updates of the Clients’ existing set of architectural plans purchased from another organization. Our Agreement was to “finish the conversion and updates” to the Clients’ “existing set of architectural plans to obtain a Building Permit.” After completion of our services in 2007 we did not receive communication from the Clients regarding the commencement of construction. Until the fall of 2010 we were unaware the Client had broken ground and that the Client was actively moving forward with construction. The builder never contacted us. The Client only contacted us in the fall of 2010 with complaints outside our Agreement. The height of the windows was neither addressed verbally nor in the Agreement. The Agreement clearly states that the scope of services was limited to the conversion and updates of the architectural plans for the purpose of obtaining a Building Permit only. We met our obligation of the Agreement – a building permit was approved. We understand the Client is dissatisfied; but we cannot be held responsible for work outside our Agreement. We wish the Clients success with their building needs. For Reiteration: Asking us to honor complaints outside our fully-perfomed contract THREE YEARS after the fact -- well, again, we wish you the very best with your building project. Merten, Inc.
