Review content:
I am a sushi snob. I admit it. I am a Sake snob, and I am not ashamed. Dish has both...and they are pretty damn good, not great, but good. The atmosphere is fantastic, although it does seem to be trying a bit too hard. I ordered both the Chanel Number 5 Roll ( which is officially my favorite roll in Alaska) and the sesame chicken ( yes, I eat a lot.) I enjoyed both. I could have done without miso soup appetizer, but, the ginger salad was a great pallete cleanser pre sushi. I had the plum Sake...and I am pretty sure I am a borderline addict now. It was freakin fantastic! I happen to know the owner personally, and she is a doll. The waitstaff are great...very young, but efficient and frienly none the less. There were enough hipsters for me to take notice, but not so many that I wanted to throw my chopsticks at anyone. Go take a visit, order the Chanel Number 5 Roll, have a few glasses of Plum Sake and realize that life is pretty damn good.
