I don't generally buy clothes that require dry cleaning, because I'm cheap and because I don't trust other people to handle my clothes. I think that stems from my mother "misplacing" (see: trashing) my favorite pair of pants when I was like 10 years old because they were thread-bare and sad.
Anyhoo, back to Barry Regent. I attended a wedding... And let's just say a nice young lady on my shuttle back to our hotel had a little "accident" (see: spinach dip + open bar for 4 hours) in my frickin' lap!! That's right. You're thinking what I'm thinking.... It's the worst thing I think that can ever happen, ESPECIALLY when I was wearing such a pretty dress!!!
So I'm totally embarrassed to bring this into the cleaners because it smells terrible and I don't want them to think that I threw up on myself!!! (I did rinse it out at the hotel, but trust me, that didn't do much.) Long story short, they cleaned it, it's clean. No markings or spinach remnants in sight. THANK GOD!!
