Dr. Sackman does seem to have a condescending attitude. He often speaks to his assistants like you are not in the room.
He often tries to make decisions about your dental health care without consulting you.
If you tell him that your financial situation doesn't allow you to have the dental work completed that he wants done then he seems to get irritated and he tries to push you into making a financial commitment.
I don't know if these hard push tactics come from his concern for your dental health or from a need to make a profit in a tight economy.
My guess it is 50/50.
I believe he is correct in pointing out the dental problems that people have. I think he is competent in performing dentistry.
I just don't care for the high brow attitude and that is why I'm searching for a new dentist that is just as competent, but without the high pressure tactics.
