Businiess name:  Tri-State Consumer Insurance
Review by:  Laura R.
Review content:
I have had Tri-State Consumer Insurance for a number of years. I never put a claim in until May of 2010 because of a house fire. The fire consumed the kitchen and smoke and soot damage to the rest of the house and the house's contents. It is now coming up on the 1 year anniversary and still my claim has not been rectified. The staff at Tri-State are a bunch of inept people I have ever come across. I have put many phone calls into them regarding this matter and it just keeps getting swept under the carpet. The claims manager called it a game, but the game is to his own doing. He knows who he is. I DON'T recommend anyone to use this joke of a company. I would just like to know what the reason for having homeowners insurance is for, when all premiums have been paid up to date but as soon as a claim is put in the don't like to part with the buck. Can't wait to either be dropped or drop them..
