I admit that I don't have any basis for comparison in terms of other cleaning services, but I can do my best to impart to you how I felt pre- and post- cleaning. To sum up: Platinum Maid is my hero. I am highly allergic to dust + afraid of bugs + D moved out leaving the apartment in a good amount of disarray = necessitating the 'deep clean' service. The most difficult thing for me was getting out of work to let Platinum Maid in. I don't have a doorman or a front desk conceirge. I really like that they began basically right away. Starting in the bathroom, moved to the kitchen (including cleaning the inside of my microwave), then bedroom and finished in the living room. I stayed out of their way. When I came back 4 hours later my 1-bedroom apartment was AWESOME. My bathroom looked like I had a hotel service come through with my toiletries neatly organized. I have semi-permanent clutter in the living room (I blame my lack of closets and not ... for comparison in terms of other cleaning services, but I can do my best to impart to you how I felt pre- and post- cleaning.
