Platinum Maid in Fairfax, VA

Terrible customer service when I complained about the soap scum, mildew, mold and hair that were still all over my bathroom shower. This was a move in clean, so the mess wasn't even mine and I am completely unsatisfied with their service policy. The maid cleaned Saturday, we moved in Sunday and I discovered the disaster of a shower and bath, I called Monday and they refused to do anything. Issued me a $10 credit on a 100 job. Completely appalling. Will NEVER use or recommend this service more

Basically they are money robbing crooks that provide minimal cleaning at best. None of them bring cleaning products and will tell you that the company doesn't provide them with cleaning products. Used them for a month and they still have not cleaned the bath showers. Dusting was not done on many surfaces. No show and late for cleaning is their usual practice. If you complain they will treat you like dirt and with no respect. Horrible serivces and all the good reviews are written by their employees. I admit that I don't have any basis for comparison in terms of other cleaning services, but I can do my best to impart to you how I felt pre- and post- cleaning. To sum up: Platinum Maid is my hero. I am highly allergic to dust + afraid of bugs + D moved out leaving the apartment in a good amount of disarray = necessitating the 'deep clean' service. The most difficult thing for me was getting out of work to let Platinum Maid in. I don't have a doorman or a front desk conceirge. I really like that they began basically right away. Starting in the bathroom, moved to the kitchen (including cleaning the inside of my microwave), then bedroom and finished in the living room. I stayed out of their way. When I came back 4 hours later my 1-bedroom apartment was AWESOME. My bathroom looked like I had a hotel service come through with my toiletries neatly organized. I have semi-permanent clutter in the living room (I blame my lack of closets and not ... for comparison in terms of other cleaning services, but I can do my best to impart to you how I felt pre- and post- cleaning. Good: I was not pleased with ANY aspect with this experience with Platinum cleaning and I would NOT recommend them to anyone.. Bad: I was surprised at the fact that the women who showed to clean was not here at the time scheduled. As well, she did not clean the floors, countertops, did not dust, clean the bathroom, kitchen or family room. When I called to complain, I asked for my money back and that she leave mid cleaning due to the poor job. I was disregarded several times in my request. I was forced to have her speak to my husband also and after several requests, they finally asked her to leave. I did not get a refund!. Improvements: Customer service is the worst I have ever seen in a cleaning service. Be clear with employees that there are certain requirements for cleaning, such as actually cleaning!!. Other: I am not a picky person when it comes to cleaning. However I was forced to clean my own home AFTER the cleaning person left due to her lack of cleaning my home when paid. am a very particular person when it comes to things like punctuality, neatness and cleanliness. Platinum Maid have never disappointed me in any one of those areas. The cleaners arrive on time...and leave my home amazingly clean. How they can accomplish so much so quickly, I'll never know.... When the crews leave, my house is not just spotless. It is antiseptic. I love it! I have recommended Platinum Maid to just about anyone who will listen.... Their trustworthiness and professionalism are rare gems in the business world these days. more

Platinum Maid is the worst cleaning service. Their cleaning skills are very poor, and they blatently did not clean areas of my house (like the bathroom and living room). When I complained, a maid named Rachael was extremely unprofessional and unethical. I also learned that Platinum Maid earned an "F" rating by the Better Business Bureau in 2010. (A+ is the best rating, and F is the absolute worst). more

Platinum Maid is a total time saver! I find cleaning to be such a burden; so to have honest and caring people clean for me is more than I could ask for. I have more free time and I can relax knowing that they will take care of the entire house cleaning. They do an impeccable job each time, I just love it! more
