I walked in as a potential new patient. I was told I would need initial exam and x-rays as a first step. No problem. But when I asked about the possible costs associated with the treatment I was seeking (cosmetic bonding on a single tooth), I was told that was impossible to estimate. What made it worse were the reasons given, that I might have a filing in need of repair or decay that need to be addressed. The tooth in question has no filings and no decay, it's obvious. I asked if, regardless of the possibility of those other things, if I could just get the range of possible costs for cosmetic bonding on a single tooth. The lady said she couldn't give me that. Having no idea whether I might be in for an $80 procedure or an $800 procedure, I thanked her and left. Other dentists will give you an estimation of the costs of services, even over the phone. The refusal of this place to do so made me suspicious.
