My friend Michelle and I went riding at Sun City Stables this past Saturday. We rode for about four hours, with Michelle on Blaze and me on Starbuck. Michelle is a moderately experienced rider while I have very little experience.We decided to do the unguided all-day ride for $65, which is a great deal. The handlers were very helpful in getting us mounted and on the trail. We initially had some difficulty handling the horses, but that was mainly due to our lack of experience. When we returned to the barn for assistance, the handlers were very helpful and gave us some good riding tips. From that point on, it was a great time! The horses were spirited and very fun to ride, given adequate handling. Both Michelle and I loved it. Michelle also liked the petting zoo, and really would have liked taking one of the piglets or baby goats home with her. We will definitely be returning to Sun City Stables.
