Businiess name:  Spa 23 Health & Racquet Club

Review content:
I read almost all the reviews here and am convinced they have been written by Spa23 staff. I have been a member at this club for over 10 years and when I finally got fed up with the arrogant rude attitudes of their management I left for a different club where I pay half the price for a better, cleaner product not to mention staff that realized their job is in service. The manager at Spa 23 once explained to me after I complained to him about being harassed at the front desk that this was a "5 Star" health club. When I asked him "What "5 Star" health club do you know without towel service and guest passes. He became very rude and ignorant. As if that is a change from the normal there. The management and ownership was also pleasant when I tried to freeze my fathers membership 1 month into a 12 month prepaid commitment, so it wouldn't go to waste, because he found out he had cancer and needed aggressive Chemotherapy. They asked me to bring in a note from the DR. as I did. Then requested he bring in the note and sign the form so they could see it, which he did, but still found out they never froze it and then denied we ever came in to do so. We found out before he was able to go back when he received a call to renew his membership which had expired. They then apologized, but refused to credit the time. This may be the greediest gym in NJ. STAY AWAY, I have so many other horror stories
