If you check on this company you will find that they have a history of overbilling customers and scaring people in to unnecessary work. They came to a friend’s house whose electric heater was smoking due to a 10 year accumulation of dust and pet hair pulled it out of the wall and told her the house was unsafe to sleep in if they didn’t get the electrical panel changed immediately. The cost: $5000- $15,000 depending on the options she selected.
The cost of a panel replacement if necessary was quoted by other electricians at $1800-$2000.
