Review content:
This is the most reasonably priced market in the area, and I've never had a problem with customer service, either at the desk or correcting a price at the checkout (I notice that the bad reviews on this are both anonymous "guest" comments, and one talks about some store in NH?).
For those who have issues with the sawdust they use on the floors for spills -- this is appropriate technology, folks! The Star uses chemicals on the floor that hit my asthma triggers, and probably aren't good for you either.
This is a piece of old Somerville, like McKinnon's butcher shop in Davis. It's not putting a gloss on a good solid townie resource. If you care more about form than function, go to the Star's in Porter.
If you want good food and friendly faces for a reasonable price, come here and enjoy playing bumper-car(t)s! :)
