Review content:
Worst Chinese food in Phoenixville...maybe ever.
I ordered the sesame chicken combo, 2 shrimp egg rolls and steamed dumplings. The sesame chicken was ORANGE, with some pieces tasting totally bland and others gross -- more like a bad cross between orange chicken and sweet and sour souce. The chicken was very fatty and the sauce was like a gelatin substance.
After eating half an egg roll, I ripped the rest open, along with the uneaten egg roll, only to find 1 dinky piece of shrimp in each roll. The rest was cabbage.
And the steamed dumplings...they smelled like pizza dough that had been sitting out for too long. The dumpling sauce was mediocre, and made the otherwise barely cooked dumplings palatable. It's far from great, but I'll be going back to Mr. China in the future for what meets at least the minimum standard for chinese food. Skip King Chef: it stinks.
