Although I have read the reviews, even the bad ones, I decided to take my VW here anyway since it is close to my work. I usually go to City, and their prices were too high for service so I shopped around. I am so happy I did, and South Bay now has a new service customer! I spoke with Ricardo on the phone, and told him my dilemma. I need new brakes and tires, which was quoted from City a whopping almost $1400!! The brakes alone were a big chunk, and I have to do one thing at a time (I'm not made of money). Ricardo said he would help me out, and gave me a price $80 less than City did. I said done. Brought it in this morning at 7:30 and they gave me a shuttle to work. There I met with Cesar, who was incredibly nice, and sat me down at his desk to go over figures (at City you have to stand at a computer with them- no desks,very impersonal and rushed). Even the shuttle driver, Alfred was super nice too. At work, I got a call at 11:00 telling me my car was done. At City, it was NEVER ready until like 5-6 at night!! I was amazed, and got my boss to drive me there to pick it up. Cesar was waiting, and gave me my bill. It was 1.45 over the estimate, and they totally hooked me up with a few other things I don't think they even charged me for. He also gave me a quote for tires at least $300 less than City VW was going to charge me! I am so impressed with everything here, I will continue to take my car back. It was seamless and perfect service!
