Good: After years of being here in Greenville, and shopping at Gutiar Center for years, I was told to ride up to Gaffney and check out Hames. I found exactly what I was looking for in a Yamaha cutaway, with built in electronics and EQ. A case was even included. Over Christmas I purchased a Martin 12 string from Guitar Center. They didn't even offer me a gig bag!! After spending that kind of money, you would think they would offer some sort of "Perk", even a set of strings would've been a nice gesture.. Bad: There wasn't much not to like. My next purchase is either going to be a small PA system, or a new Mandolin. I played several mandolin's while I was there.. Improvements: The time I spent there was a great experience. I didn't see much in the way of offering any advice for improvement.. Other: I told the sales rep (and I mean it) I will make the ride to Gaffney from now on to make my purchases, as well as my band mates. I will tell anyone who will listen about Hames. This guitar is everything I was looking for and more. I had purchased an Ibanez cutaway at Guitar Center before I made the trip up, which I returned today.
