After running 26.2 miles in the Portland Marathon in the pouring rain, I went to Spa Sasse. If you've gotten a lot of massages in your life and want a place that knows what they're doing, go to Spa Sasse.
My masseuse was a miracle worker and got to the exact spots that I most needed. She even showed me some hip flexor stretches afterwards. My 90 minute massage demonstrated the gifts of a VERY knowledgable and talented therapist, and I only wish I lived in Portland so I could go there once a month (or more!).
The spa setting is cozy and the retail section of the store, where the owner sells her custom made bath product line Dish, is very alluring. I walked away with a bag full of her signature bath bombes and my treatment at minimal damage to the wallet.
Located near lots of other great stores and restaurants, this place hit the mark all around.
Spa Sasse? YES-- ABSOLUTELY!!!
