After hearing the ads for The Colorado Cafe on the radio (thank you Thunder Country!) I had to get up to Watchung and check it out for myself. This place was the best! I brought a few girlfriends and we had the best night ever! We arrived around 6 PM (not knowing how traffic was going to be) and sat in the restaurant since the doors to the dance hall didn't open until 7... which was awesome, because we were informed that ordering a dinner entree would get us a free pass into the dance hall! The food was delicious, the waitress was so nice ( I think her name was Tiffany), and I highly recommend ordering the ribeye steak! The food was great and the portions were HUGE! Once inside the enormous dance room we found a table with waitress service which was perfect! No waiting in line at the bar, a table to leave our jackets while we danced, and Thunder Country was doing a live broadcast from 9 until midnight with a chance to win tickets to big country concerts! And since there were FREE line dance lessons we weren't just stuck on the sidelines!!! Later that night we went to see the live rock band in the restaurant area and rode the mechanical bull!!! The guy running the bull was so helpful and made sure we all had a great time! The drinks were reasonably priced, the free pass with the entree, country music and dancing, and a staff of such polite and fun people made our night perfect and I can't wait to go back!!!!
