I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about - we didn't have any issues with our stay. It was perfectly lovely. We booked through Priceline and got a great deal ($60/night). The front desk staff were helpful and kind (they took a snapshot for us, and helped us by making dinner reservations and showing us a book with various menus). The elevators were fine. Our room on the 19th floor was up-to-date, with a comfy king-sized bed and updated bathroom. See my pics. Mirrors on the closet door, iron and ironing board, hair dryer. HBO was available. There is a business center on the lobby level where we were able to print our boarding passes. We had a view of the Cleveland Browns Stadium, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (the main purpose of our trip), and Lake Erie from our room. The air conditioning was off for the season, and the air in our room was a bit "still." When I asked, they promptly brought a fan up to the room for us. For our purposes, the hotel was ideally situated. We walked the few blocks to the Hall of Fame. We were also able to walk to the 6th Street area, where there were several fun restaurant/bars (we had dinner at the Metro, which was nice and not exorbitantly priced). We took the train in from the airport, which was very easy to do, and cost $2.25/person. The only downside with that is that we got off at Tower City, where there are more than a few folks panhandling and milling about. We took a cab (about $4 including tip) from Tower City to our hotel when we arrived in the evening, but walked it during the day when we returned to Tower City to catch the train to head back to the airport.
