Review content:
We live within walking distance of this restaurant and any time people want to get together even if we suggest at their house -- they want to go with us to Casa Vega. It has great food, fast service and tasty margaritas. It's very dark inside and there's always a hour+ wait on weekend nights. But it is a valley landmark, a place that some people know outside of L.A. The food comes to you quickly -- always a gasp how fast it is. It's tasty and the portions are big. I've had more than 20 meals here and never been disappointed. We've been there with kids and because it's relatively loud, it's not a problem -- they're used it. I even order takeout.
