Businiess name:  Tuna Town Sushi Bar
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Tuna town is all about the atmosphere. It's owned by the drummer of Korn, who dines there occasionaly...so does Tito Ortiz. If you want to occasionally see celebs then you have a better chance at tuna town then many other sushi bars, but Its always full of drunk trendy downtown scene-sters that stop to eat/drink there while bar hopping downtown HB. If your looking for great sushi this isnt the place for you. Everytime I order sushi rolls there they fall apart, like they were made by amatures. The quality of the fish isnt bad, but it isnt good either...this is not a romantic place to take a date, this is the kinda place you go eat at before you drive to Ozzfest. Mostly young people eat here, some of their signature drinks include the "blue b*lls martini" etc. . The platinum records and posters of different bands on the wall remind you of the inside of a recording studio rather than a restaurant. I myself like the LOUD rock/hiphop music they blast, the decor, the attractive young crowd etc. I have yet to try their tepan yaki (sp?) Ive heard from several of my friends that the service is bad, but there are a few waiters that have been working there for several years that are pretty good. This isnt a place Id take my parents to. Pros: fun and trendy atmosphere for a sushi restaurant Cons: service and food are below average
