Review content:
Guests always want to go see the Sixth Floor Museum, it's one of those things that you end up seeing time and time again. Luckily, then, it's very well done. It has some background on the life of JFK and then details his assassination second by second. It's easy to keep an academic distance from it until you are actually looking at the spot where Oswald crouched in his sniper nest. Being so close to world-shaking events is a little chilling.
For us jaded Texans, the floor above the JFK exhibit rotates on a regular basis. Even if you're going to the museum for the eighth time with your second cousin Billy Bob from Nebraska, there will be something fresh just for you.
I found myself wishing that there was even more information on who JFK was as a person, including his darker personal life. As it stands the museum is very well done and you'll leave satisfied.
