Fair Oaks Mall has a selection of almost 200 stores. Their flagship stores are a Lord & Taylor, Sears, JCPenney, and TWO Macy's. I was pleasantly surprised to find some decent stores for clothing. They also have many restaurants for eating lunch or dinner. I love their Texas de Brazil restaurant and have eaten there many times. The mall looks new and well maintained. Parking has never been a problem for me. more

Fairoaks mall has a very good number of affordable department stores compared to Tysons mall. Great place to take kids for trick-or-treat during Halloween..Restrooms are pretty decent. I particularly love the playplace near JCPennys - fun for kids to jump around after shopping, while the parents relax.. Fair Oaks Mall is not the largest shopping center around here, but I like it for several reasons. It is usually not very difficult to find a parking space near the stores or restaurants I want to go. It is right off major highways and it is easy to get in and out via the surrounding access roads. The retail stores and restaurants offer a good variety, even though it does not have some of my favorites. There are frequent community events (such as Picture with Santa during Christmas season) at the Mall's courtyard. They always come up with new and fun ideas to make the shopping trip a different experience. You can get the event calendar at the Information Desk. The calendar will tell you the discounts and special events. Alternatively, you can also get sales and event information on their website. This mall has a wide variety of stores. You have Lord and Taylor for the more upscale selection and JC Penney for more traditional affordable attire. There is something here for everyone. No matter what you like. There isn't a plus size clothing store for women here though. more

Fair Oaks Mall has a lot of specialty stores, services and restaurants as well as Macy's, Lord & Taylor, Hecht's, Sears and JCPenney. They also provide services like gift certificates and complimentary gift wrap. Other special services include free shopping bags, free strollers and wheelchairs. The mall is open from 10 am to 9.30 pm on weekdays and saturdays and from 11am to only till 6 pm on sundays. I think they need to keep the mall open for more hours on sunday. Parking is not at all a problem here.
