Was excited to try this restaurant and was extremely disappointed
that it did not live up to some of the local comments received. Food was g
good. Some excellent, some not so memorable, but better than the
average Italian restaurant in the area.
However, the service was a true damper to the evening. Hostess has
a lot to learn about treating customers in a manner that they will
want to return. Customers do not want to be told off when they
come to your restaurant. Waitress was curt and non-friendly.
There are much better restaurants in Hackettstown that want your
business and will treat you as someone they want to come back
again and again.
Cara Mia does not operate that way to all patrons. It is hit or miss
as far as if you are treated like a returning customer or not.
