Gordo's appears to only be open on certain days. I have been to Gordo's about 6 times in the past few years, but I have never seen any food while I was there. Gordo's is housed in an old movie theateresque building, so it's upcoming events are displayed on the marquee. Gordo's often features live music from all genres. Gordo's has also become home to Texas State's Bobcat Ball that occurs once per semester and is sponsored by the Lambda organization. Bobcat Ball is a drag show to raise awareness of the gay/lesbian community at the university. I have also been to a foam party at Gordo's. The events you will find and the fun you will have vary on the night you head out to this bar.
