Carmelita's is an authentic Mexican restaurant located on Park Street in St. Pete. I have been going here ever since I was younger and have always been pleased. I was actually a little disappointed that on my last visit, the servers were not real Mexican woman in their traditional skirts, as in the past. Other than that they did change my favorite item on the menu which is chicken flautas, which were good, but not the same as they used to be. Overall the quality of food is good, and the prices are fairly reasonable. Their yellow rice is amazing, and is cooked perfect every time. They also do not have a liquor license, so sadly, no margaritas. If you are just looking for good Mexican food though, this is worth a trip/
