A hidden gem in Brookline Village, Matt Murphy's provides great drinks and great music in a great atmosphere. Reggae music on Tuesday nights and live Jazz on Thursdays are my personal favorites, but entertainment can be found here almost any night of the week. No cover charge and no miniumum drink requirement, this locale offers an escape from the crowded, commercial bars of downtown Boston in a casual and creative atmosphere.
