I first tried Oakland Gyros back in my east side days! The original location on Oakland is a landmark to all the college students. And for good reason - awesome gyros!
Now we eat at the south side location. It's newer, nicely decorated, kid friendly, and the food is just as good as the original!
Everything at this place is great. Gyros are packed with meat. The pita, veggies and feta are scrumptious. Greek salads - to die for. And let's not even get started on the baklava!!!!! YUM!!!!!!
The south side location also has a drive through for those times that you are on the run.
