Nightmare delivery 11/14/2007

My husband and I went to the Shokopee location and we spent over 3 hours looking for the perfect living room set for our new house. We placed our order at the end of August. Our furniture arrived the last week of September. We opened the plastic around the TV stand and it had a hole in the back. I called the company within 10 minutes of the delivery men leaving. Company policy is they have to have a tech look to see if they can fix it. 10 days later..they can't. He orders a part 3 weeks later the part arrives. 10 days later the tech comes and opens the part... it's broken! I call the company and they tell me A) I can have $100 off B) they can reorder the part C) pick it up. I am insulted. My husband and I spent $2500.00 in their store and they are going to knock off $100? I was insulted!! It is mid November and I still don't have a TV stand. I will NEVER use this company again. I feel they don't care about their product or their customers. A supervisor would not even take the time to talk to me. I took the day off of work to wait for the tech to come and the rest of the day on the phone waiting for someone in charge to talk to me. If this is how they treat people who spend a fair amount of money in their store, I'd rather pay the extra money and go to HOME!!!! more
