The Jefferson Theater dates back to 1927 and has recently been beautifully restored. It used to be a movie theater with lovely art-deco touches, and vintage movies are still shown there, as well as touring shows, the Charlie Pruitt Show, which is a country-western revue of local talent, and other musical shows. It's located in downtown Beaumont near the Art Museum of Southeast Texas on Fannin Street.
