Woods Super Market has been in Vidor since 1943, owned by the Woods family. It's conveniently located on N. Main near the railroad tracks and City Hall. It's the only large supermarket in Vidor that's not part of a large chain, and there's always a 3-page ad for the week's specials in Wednesday's Vidor Shopper newspaper. Woods is open from 7:30 AM until 10:00 PM each day. They have good specials each week and an excellent meat market, and you don't have to bag up your own groceries. They even provide carry-out if you want. They take credit cards and the Lone Star card
