Children's World is great! 7/17/2005

Out of all the daycares/pres-schools I reviewed over the past month, Children's World definitely came out to be #1. I had gone to a total of 12 pre-schools/daycares in the last month. I was a little skeptical at first since their prices seem a little high, but I realized that your paying for the quality of education and for someone that you feel safe with having your child everyday of the week and that can't have a price tag. You are paying for what you get and in my opinion, education is the best thing you can spend your money on. I didn't realize that until I walked in this daycare/pre-school, the staff was willing to talk to me about the programs and loved the children. They were great. They feed them both breakfast and lunch and 3 snacks I believe during the day. They were willing to work with me on potty training my daughter (she had just turned 3 on July 1st) and also were willing to let me keep her in the same room as the kids she started with since her birthday is the cut-off deadline and most of the children will be turning 4 this year my daughter doesn't turn 4 until next July 1st. Since I had been home with my daughter a majority of her first three years of life, she knew all her shapes, colors, numbers, alphabet and can even write her name. So this is another reason why they are letting her be the youngest in the class. Children's World also has computer time for the kids, which is a great educational tool. Most of the daycares I went too for lower money, didn't have computers, the teachers didn't seem to like their job or nor were they willing to explain to me their pre-school program without a sigh and the food looked like crap, or they smelled like a nursing home. I found something wrong with all the others I visited, but Children's World I couldn't find anything wrong but the price. But you definitely get what you pay for. I also like that they don't force your child to take a nap if he/she doesn't want too. Most of the other daycares forced the children to take a nap for 3 hours. They are allowed to play quietly with a puzzle or while the others are sleeping. So if you have the extra money I'd say pick Children's World, your child is definitely getting a good quality education with teachers who care! more
