I have lived in many places with good bowling alleys, and Ames is no exception.Twentieth Century Bowling has a good number of lanes that are kept up quite well. I would like to see a more updated interior, with blacklight techno bowling events that make so many other bowling alleys fun places to go to, even if you aren't a good bowler. But overall, this place is comfortable and free of the cigarette fog and beer stench that permeates lesser bowling alleys.
