Lavetan is a metal recycling center. It is a great place if you have aluminum siding, old appliances, soda cans, etc. They pay whatever the going rate is for whatever type of metal you have. You drive onto the scale, and then they will direct you as to where to go to unload. The only thing I would warn about is to stop on the way out and check your tires. They try hard to keep the areas where peddlers drive clear, but there is always the possibility that you may drive over a stray piece of sharp metal, and pay the price with a tire.
