Contrary to what the other reviewer said, I have found the owner at this store to be always helpful, friendly, and not pushy. She will offer to help but then leaves you alone to browse. The fabrics are truly different from the franchises in this area -- top quality, and yes, a bit more expensive, but I prefer knowing that the fabric I buy is going to hold up, handle well, and sew easily. Valerie does not stock cheap merchandise!
