Porto’s is hands-down the best bakery in Southern California—and business proves it. You can stand in line as long as 30-40 minutes on a Sunday to get your baked goods. Why do people wait? Outstanding baked goods at incredibly cheap prices. A large chocolate croissant will run you just over a dollar (and it’s made with Belgian chocolate!) Other exceptional baked items include the hot ham and cheese croissant, the spinach feta croissant, the strawberry cheese croissant, napoleons, cream horns (less than a buck each!) and tres leches.
