Anytime we have out of town guests, the Desert Museum is top on the list. It is beautiful and relaxing. There are several dining options- we usually just get ice cream and eat on the patio but they have a very nice restaurant. There is alot of walking involved- and some of the paths are dirt and steep. There are wheelchairs if needed. The hummingbird habitat is incredible. Here you can see all the different animals, fish, and insects we have in the desert. Kids love it. Everyone we have taken loves it! Rates depend on the season- Adults are $9-12, kids are$4-2 and ages 5 and under are free.
