It's a small daily paper, which services about 25,000 readers in a 60,000 resident population. Some of the reporters have been at this paper for years and years, so they are extremely familiar with the coverage area and its leaders. However, that can often change the angle of the paper to being one-sided as far these veteran reporters are concerned. The paper is cheap and informative, but it still can't fully compete with The Hartford Courant, which pretty much takes the cake as far as news goes in Connecticut.
