This is as authentic Mexican food as you can order without crossing the border. The same family immigrated here 50 years ago, and now employs their Spanish-speaking grandchildren to staff this cafe. It does help to speak Spanish when ordering, although English is understood. The combination plates are my favorite, including specialities as homemade tquitos and mole. My young children always have loved their filled churros. Their tacos are even loaded in fried double, homemade tostades. Excellent frsh salsa bar including pico de gallo.
Plates range at $6 a person.
