Six Acres offers a great nursery / preschool experience for children ages 2.9 (I think) up to kindergarten-age. They have two-day, three-day, and five-day options. Like most other nursery schools, the core hours are 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. (11:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. for afternoon classes), but they also offer an extended day program from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. I found this a big help in getting my son ready for Medford's full-day kindergarten program.
The facility is clean, bright, and welcoming. Each class has its own classroom, some of which are connected for larger group activities. They have a large, well-appointed, fenced-in playground. They also have a fantastic "activity room," complete with a large but safe climbing structure, where the kids can play on rainy days.
