Los Altos High is one of the two high schools in the Mountain View-Los Altos high school district. It has pretty good academics and is almost as good as MVHS. Los Altos, however, is more successful at sports than Mountain View. This school though doesn't have an open acess policy like MVHS so you can only take an AP/Honors class with a teacher recommendation. I recommend this school if your child just isn't that smart (3.5 or under GPA in middle school) or if you're desperate.
