Paier is run by shrewd businesspeople. They underpay the art instructors and figurative models. You'll pay about eleven grand a year in tuition, which is about what it's worth. Passion and commitment are in short supply. The building itself is a remnant of Brutalism: utterly depressing, cold in the winter, hot in the autumn and spring.
