We very much enjoyed our visit here. The trip was rich with history and the staff were warm as well as welcoming. They were very excited to see to out of town ladies come to visit. The Gold Dust Hotel was built by Samuel Baughman, former Wilson County sheriff and was opened in 1885. It was a very informative visit and the restored hotel is impressive. Every one in this community was so hospitable. It's a great place to take a few days off and enjoy the easy pace.
