It was my 84 year old mother's wish to dine at Mapleside for her birthday. I called the restaurant to make sure that we could be seated at 8:00 pm (their last seating of the day as advertised) and made a reservation. We arrived on time but had to search for the hostess who left us to fend for ourselves. Frankly, we felt unwelcome through the entire meal as it was obvious the waitress wanted to go home. We were all disappointed, especially my mother. The food was ordinary.
