In the heart of downtown Portland, the Portland Museum of Art houses a diverse collection of fine and decorative arts from the 18th century to the present. With an exciting year-round array of special exhibitions and programs, the Museum offers a dynamic view of American and European masterpieces including works by Mary Cassatt, Frederic Church, Edgar Degas, Marsden Hartley, Winslow Homer, Childe Hassam, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Neil Welliver, and William and Marguerite Zorach.
