We moved my mother-in-law into Regency Retirement Village (memory care) in April 2019. It was a difficult adjustment, at first, as it is for most people who leave their home but Regency provides so many activities that after a while I found myself not only wanting to be there every day because of my mother-in-law but because of the staff, other residents and activities! Soon my mother-in-law and I began laughing together again. There was a moment in October where she said, "I'm happy." and my heart just melted.
