I had not eaten at this place before so was looking forward to it very much. The food was great the day I ate there. I had the special which was a Quiche. But somewhere along the line I developed Salmonella poisoning, the next day I became violently ill with vomiting and diarrhea. I ran a 103 temperature for 2 days. The family finally took me to the ER where a culture was done. The culture takes 72 hours and when it came back it was definitely Salmonella. Of course the health department called since the ER has to report all food poisoning incidents. I had to fill out some papers. They said more than likely it was from the eggs in the Quiche. I do not know where I obtained the poisoning I can not be sure. But when I called the restaurant and told them about it they were very
hateful with me and told me I could not prove where I got the poisoning, I was informed no one else had gotten sick that they knew of. I informed them I just wanted them to know so they could contact the egg supplier. I was not trying to get any thing out of them at all. I am not saying I got the Salmonella poisoning there but It sure was a bad case of it.
